Immune Boosting Vitamin C Smoothie
Nothing screams summertime like all things citrus. This Immune Boosting Vitamin C Smoothie will give you all the summer feels as it’s loaded with vitamin C (hence the name), is super refreshing with hints of lemon, lime, and vanilla.
I even like to add a scoop of vanilla plant protein if I have this after a workout or yoga class. Vanilla hemp protein is deeeelicious too. If you’re ever looking for a good one I like the Trader Joe’s brand. It never disappoints.
Even in the summer we still have to watch out for the flu and other pesky viruses. There’s nothing worse than being sick in the summer, it totally sucks. But instead of whipping up a hot latte on a musky, ass wet, hot summer day, you can have this waiting for you ready to keep you cool and give your immune system the boost it always needs.
On the days we head out to the beach I pack us all the things like veggie wraps, chopped up fruit like watermelons, pineapples, grapes, berries, etc. Then I stack another cooler with smoothies like this one because we get super thirsty on the sand. Plus being out in the sun all day you need to stay nice and hydrated. This will keep you glowing to as it’s like dessert for our hair skin and nails.

With the slight scientific jargon out of the way, let me ask you, do you love creamsicles? I absolutely looooove creamsicles, that creaminess with orange flavor, so yum, well this smoothie reminds me of that. I guess it’s alter ego name could be Immune Boosting Creamsicle coming at you with all sorts of deliciousness, haha.
Alsoooooo, you can 100% turn this smoothie into some popsicles and have it. Just another fun way to get your vitamin C cool down on this summer. Now go friends, go boost your immune systems and be merry.
Immune Boosting Vitamin C Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or coconut water, (or half almond milk, half coconut water)
- 2 oranges
- 1.5 cups frozen bananas
- 1.5 cups frozen mangos
- squeeze of half a lemon
- squeeze of half a lime
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ice as desired
Instructions
- Place all ingredients inside a high speed blender and run until smooth and creamy.
- Serve right away or keep stored in the fridge in mason jars for up to 24 hours. Enjoy!
